Viola Marion Weissinger, age 85, of Janesville passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. Viola was born on February 13, 1932 in Durand, Wisconsin, the daughter of Thomas and Zulita (Hoyt) Kralewski. She married Wilbert Weissinger on May 23, 1950 and they were married for 25 years prior to divorcing. Viola was formerly employed as a waitress at Krause’s Town and Country Restaurant and retired from Parker Pen Company. She was a member of Roxbury Church of Christ.

Surviving are 4 children, Deborah (Michael) McCarthy, Daniel (Gloria) Weissinger, Diana Weissinger, Donna McVicar (Dave Barlass),  daughter -in-law, Vicki Weissinger, 5 grandchildren, Bev, Kristie, Bill, Jenny and Joe, 4 great-grandchildren, Reno, Cassidee, Aviana, Khloe, a brother, LeRoy Kralewski, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gregory, 5 siblings, Frances, Annabelle, Gen, Lucille and Franklin.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville. Pastor Marc Grindle and Pastor Dale Teeter will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
